After more than 20 years of managing security companies, our founder, Mike Howell, saw firsthand the problems caused by poor communication, limited accountability, and leadership that placed profits ahead of clients and employees.

In 2020, Mike founded Veterans Courtesy Officers to create a better standard for professional security services. The company was built on integrity, transparency, fairness, respect, honesty, strength, and responsibility.

Our purpose is to lead by example and demonstrate that doing the right thing creates stronger teams, better client relationships, and more dependable security operations.

Although Veterans Courtesy Officers was established in 2020, our team brings more than 30 years of combined experience in the military, law enforcement, private security, customer service, training, and property operations.

We believe professional security is about more than placing an officer at a location. It requires dependable service, clear communication, accurate reporting, professional presentation, and consistent accountability.

We do not make unrealistic promises or guarantee that incidents will never occur. Instead, we serve as additional eyes and ears for our clients and law enforcement by helping detect, deter, document, and report activity that may affect a property, its assets, access points, or daily operations.
